He has developed top producers, increasing their referral rate, & helped ‘non-natural’ salespeople learn what top sales professionals do to double and triple their profits. And he created The People Company AZ so that he can personally introduce companies to those top-producing principles and practices, once again, showing the way forward in a global economy with increased competition.
Don Jennings was personally recruited by Tom Hopkins (How to Master the Art of Selling and many other books) and trained countless salespeople on his behalf for 8 years all over the country. For two years he was a trainer at the 'Success Academy' (SA) of St. Louis, MO. Before that Don worked for 22 years in straight commission, doing in-home sales, where he was recognized as a top producer for 17 years. He managed a 28-person sales team, and currently owns The People Companyaz, a sales training and consulting business based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Don has shared the stage over the years with such notable speakers as Paul Harvey, Charleton Heston, Norman Schwarzkopf, Jim Rohn and Tom Hopkins.
Throughout his career, Don has been witness to what works and what doesn’t in the business world. His 35 years of experience have given him insight into the critical elements a company MUST HAVE in order to succeed. Don learned that not only are people a critical element regardless of the industry or strength of the economy, but that management and the training of each individual is critical as well. A well-trained and well-treated staff can 'make' your business, just as a poorly trained and/or poorly treated staff can weaken your business and cost you tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost sales. Don believes that virtually every employee in every company possesses great potential, and he founded The People Company as a vehicle for unlocking that potential. He has made the “people business” his life’s work because he believes in one simple fact: People make the difference.
